Review: Buff’d Cosmetics Foundations in Warm Pale and Cool Pale

Ciao ragazze!
Come avete passato il 1° maggio? Io ho passato una stupenda giornata fra amici ed il tempo è stato clemente: ha piovuto solo nel tardo pomeriggio :)
Ma ora passiamo all'argomento del post :)

Dopo aver testato questo prodotto per un paio di settimane, sono pronta a scrivere una review sui samples di fondo minerale che Jennifer (Buff’d Cosmetics) mi ha inviato.

I’ve been tested them for weeks now and I’m ready to write a review about the mineral foundation samples that Jennifer (Buff’d Cosmetics) sent me.

Era la prima volta che provavo un fondo minerale e non sapevo cosa aspettarmi. Pensavo che non mi avesse dato una buona coprenza e che fosse troppo “polveroso” sulla pelle ma sono felice di dire che avevo torto!
This was the first time I ever tested a mineral foundation so I didn’t know what to expect from it. I tought  it would have a low coverage and a dusty looking finish and I’m happy to say I was wrong!
Ho scelto due diversi sottotoni perchè non sapevo quale fosse il mio :D ma ora, provando questi fondi, ho capito che ho un sottotono giallo visto che il fondo Warm Pale mi sta a pennello.
I chose two different undertones because I wasn’t sure about mine :D but now, thanks to these samples, I know that I’m yellow undertone because Warm Pale foundation is perfect for me and it has a yellow undertone.


Ho testato la formulazione Original che loro dicono avere alta coprenza e buon potere opacizzante e infine con protezione UV.
I tested the Original Formula that they say

a great full-coverage foundation with fantastic oil absorption and natural UV protection. ingredients: titanium dioxide, zinc oxide, mica, iron oxides, ultramarines.

Sono disponibili altre due formulazioni:
light: come dice il nome, più leggera ma con coprenza modulabile
concealing: è la formulazione più coprente e adatta a chi ha pelle mista/grassa.
There are other two formulas:

light: specifically for those who prefer a lightweight foundation that still offers buildable coverage and great oil absorption. ingredients: mica, titanium dioxide, zinc oxide, iron oxides, ultramarines
concealing: made with a touch of kaolin clay offering even better coverage with greater oil absorption. Ideal for those with combination to oily skin and a great spot concealer. ingredients: titanium dioxide, zinc oxide, iron oxides, kaolin clay, mica, ultramarines

Quindi potete scegliere la migliore per il vostro tipo di pelle.
So you can choose the best one for you.

Ecco la mia esperienza:
prendo una piccola quantità di prodotto e la metto in tappo di una vecchia crema mani, prendo il pennello della Essence e inizio a prelevare il prodotto poggiando il pennello nel tappo e facendo movimenti circolari (wow, si solleva della polvere…), elimino l’eccesso e poi applico il fondo con un moto circolare, premendo un po’…
Here is my experience:
I put a small amount of foundation in an hard surface and then, I swirl my Essence brush (wow, some product fly away…), dab the excess and then I apply using circular motions.
O_O ecco, questa è la mia faccia dopo un paio di secondi… Fantastico! Coprenza medio alta e non sembra che mi sia sparsa il viso di polvere!! L’adoro!
ho notato che ha una buona coprenza su brufolini e rossori ma quando voglio coprire bene tutto, o utilizzo il kabuki piatto Sigma F80 che è più denso, oppure uso i Pigmenti Concentrati Lush come correttore.
O_O here is my face after few seconds… It is amazing! It has medium-high coverage and it is not dusty looking! I love it!
I noticed that it has a good coverage on spots and redness but if I want a perfect looking skin I use my Sigma F80 flat top kabuki that gives it a better coverage or I use Lush Pigment in Porcelain as concealer. 


Che altro posso dire… Me ne sono innamorata! Penso sia perfetto per pelli miste o grasse (tutto l’anno), anche per quelle normali (in estate).
What else can I say… I’m in love with this mineral foundation and I think it is perfect for oily skin and for normal skin in summer.
